Tandin Sonam (Co-founder, Executive Producer, Director, Actor)
Tandin Sonam is an acclaimed filmmaker, actor, and lawyer from Bhutan, whose work exemplifies the fusion of artistic expression and a deep commitment to positive global change. As a filmmaker, Tandin has directed three feature-length films, each contributing significantly to Bhutan’s cinematic evolution. His most recent film, Tsawasum, set an unprecedented milestone in the Bhutanese film industry by achieving the highest opening-week record in the nation’s history, surpassing benchmarks that stood unchallenged since 1989. His earlier directorial works, Zhingkham and Guru Rinpoche Khenoh, have also been celebrated for their profound storytelling and cultural authenticity.
As an actor, Tandin has starred as the lead protagonist in 23 feature films, earning widespread recognition for his performances. In 2018, his role in Hingtam Bangzoe earned him the National Film Award, further cementing his reputation as a versatile and talented artist. Between 2022 and 2024, Tandin was hailed as the “Most Creative Director” by four leading media houses, a testament to his innovative vision and ability to push the boundaries of Bhutanese cinema.

In addition to his filmmaking career, Tandin is a registered private lawyer with the Bar Council of Bhutan. He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the prestigious ILS Law College in Pune, India, and completed his Post Graduate Diploma in National Law (PGDNL) at the Royal Institute of Management in Simtokha, Bhutan. His legal expertise complements his creative pursuits, providing him with a multidimensional perspective on social justice and ethical storytelling.
Max Song (Co-founder, Executive Producer, Creative Contributor, Technology Advisor)
Max Song is a founder, investor and board member. He is a Forbes 30u30, HuRun U30, and Tatler Gen T Honoree, Schwarzman Scholar. He works at the intersection of sustainability, technology, machine learning and web3. Previously, Max worked in investment development for two multi-billion HK family offices, where he invested in TMT, AI, blockchain, and healthcare. Max started his career as a data scientist in Silicon Valley for Ayasdi, where he led data analysis for financial applications, notably Citibank's 2014 Federal Stress Test. Max received a Masters degree from Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, and Bachelor of Science from Brown University, where he majored in Applied Math and Computer Science.
